Lettera scritta da una Moonlight's Fan facente parte del Moonlight's Group:
06-02-2008

Okay gang, I have a direct contact, who has to remain undisclosed, because of their immediate involvement with the show. Don't ask for a name because I won't release my contact, otherwise huge repercussions would take place. What I can tell you is this; since the writers strike is still having informal talks with the studios, and the blackout will continue until the contracts are voted on, and signed CBS's hands are tied until everything is announced. Once it ends we should hear further news and the plans for our sweetheart.

What I was advised was for the fans to go to CBS daily even if it is to watch the show, get pics, whatever we have to do to keep the interest up, and it logs how many visits are made each day, will help tremendously. Also, the petition being signed, doing hey nielsen ratings, writing to CBS, taking polls on pcavote, everything we can possibly do. TV Guide.com; TV.com; also if we can get word out to the other boards to do the same thing, would be extremely helpful. Since "Moonlight" did win the pcavote for Best New Drama it is highly likely it'll get picked up, but we don't want to wait till next Fall if we can avoid it. Since there are no new episodes written for our great show, and until the strike ends, we have to show our unity and dog them. Definitely go to CBS daily, do whatever you have to do to show that the interest is not waning.

Keep your fingers crossed, we need to get the word out to all the fans, by other boards, phone calls, whatever it takes. We need our fix. Then maybe once all this chaos is over CBS will get people working again, and instead of a 13 episode, we might get more. For right now, CBS can take note, track things online, plus letters, emails, whatever it takes. If all of us unite, a lot of powerful things can happen. Spread the word...

It is said that laughter is music to the soul, yet music is the inspiration to my soul!

TV GUIDE-AUSIELLO 06-02-2008

Question: Just want to know what the buzz is concerning the return of Moonlight on CBS — there are all sorts of rumors that CBS won't be airing any more original episodes until this fall. — Connie
Ausiello: That's assuming it comes back in the fall. And that's a big assumption at this point. I spoke to a Moonlight insider late last week and he/she told me that before the strike, CBS informed producers that they had every intention of picking up the show's "back nine." But since the strike started, they haven't heard a peep about whether they'll be going back into production. My guess? Moonlight will be renewed for a 13-episode second season.
